This under-eaves House Sparrow nest box from Unitura is a subtle and attractive way of providing House Sparrows roosting opportunities in your eaves and soffits while remaining durable and secure for both the home and birds. The roost is made of both a woodconcrete entrance stone and an FSC plywood box, with ideally only the entrance stone being exposed to the elements, improving the durability and longevity of the box. The entrance stone is scalloped to improve the ease of entry and exit for House Sparrows and also provides runoff opportunities for water. The box should always be mounted horizontally within the wall with the entrance stone flush with the outer surface of the wall.
MULTI-MONTI fixings are included and are designed to be used without a Rawlplug. The screw anchor is approved for installation in cracked and uncracked concrete. It is also suitable for a whole range of other building materials, such as Clinker, Natural stone (e.g. marble), Sand-lime brick, Hollow concrete block and Solid brick.
