About this book

Language: English

This volume contains 23 contributions and short notes dealing with the botanical and mycological diversity of the National Botanic Garden of Belgium. Almost all contributions have been written by people working at the Botanic Garden. Although animals have been largely neglected, this publication underscores the rich diversity of spontaneous wildlife within the grounds of the Garden, which covers 92 ha in the vicinity of Brussels. Moreover, this Scripta is intended to stimulate new efforts from both scientists and amateurs to further expand the inventory of the biodivesity of the Botanic Garden.
