The Pocket Guide to Wildflower Families proved so popular that the author looked for a congenial way of continuing ID down to species level – but without the encumbrance of hundreds of species you're fairly unlikely to come across. This small (15 × 10 cm), laminated, spiralbound guide covers 20 groups – a family, a genus, or just a collection of similar plants – in which common species are easily confused. For example: the Deadnettle family, the Speedwell genus, Clover-like species. For each group, there is a whole-page flowchart to guide the reader to a probable ID, with illustrations of each species arrived at (200 colour photos in all). There is also a glossary, some explanatory diagrams and suggestions for further help from books and websites. Wild Flower Flowcharts is in the same field-friendly pocket-sized format as the Pocket Guide to Wildflower Families.
